Week 1 picks:
“Muffler” Mike:
TOR @ OSH
Oshawa. I like what the Rock did in the offseason, between draft picks and other personnel moves. But with more continuity on their roster from last year, I’m giving the edge to the FireWolves as they open to a sold out arena.
SD @ OTT
Ottawa. Another situation where I like the offseason moves San Diego made, but give the edge to a home team that retained most of its core personnel.
GA @ BUF
Buffalo. I can already hear “We Want Four (in a row)!” Georgia might keep it close, but I fear the significant roster overhaul this offseason will show as the game winds down and the Bandits pull away.
COL @ VAN
Vancouver. The Warriors now have all the pieces they need to be on the short list of bonafide NLL Cup contenders. The next step is to start the season on the right note in front of 10,000+ fans.
Shawn:
Toronto vs Oshawa
Pick – Toronto
I really like what Toronto is building. They’ll have some ups and downs this season as the young guys get their feet under them, but I think they’ll start the new season with a statement win.
San Diego vs Ottawa
Pick – Ottawa
There has been quite a bit of change in San Diego and it’ll take them time to gel. Meanwhile, Ottawa looks like a strong team this year.
Georgia vs Buffalo
Pick – Buffalo
To be the man you have to beat the man. Until I’m proved anything differently, the Bandits are the team to beat, while Georgia lost some key pieces this offseason.
Colorado vs Vancouver
Pick – Vancouver
By far, Vancouver won free agency and it’s time for them to make a statement. Like Georgia, I think Colorado lost some key pieces this offseason.

Gary:
Toronto vs. Oshawa
Toronto wins.
The Rock have lighted the ship. They are united, and on the same page. Additions like Owen Hiltz, CJ Kirst, and Sam English will pay dividends immediately.
San Diego vs. Ottawa
San Diego wins.
I like the makeup of the Seals team! They are younger and faster. I think they will have the Black Bears chasing them most of the night.
Georgia vs. Buffalo
Buffalo wins.
You’re not beating the Bandits on banner night, in front of a sold out Banditland!
Colorado vs. Vancouver
Vancouver wins.
I like the Mammoth squad, but I like the Warriors more! This is probably the most well rounded team in the league.

Pat:
Toronto vs. Oshawa
Oshawa FireWolves
San Diego vs. Ottawa
San Diego Seals
Georgia vs. Buffalo
Buffalo Bandits
Colorado vs. Vancouver
Vancouver Warriors
Caden:
Toronto vs. Oshawa
Oshawa-
This one hurts for me. The first game that Albany isn’t Albany anymore. This is like watching your ex be happy with someone else. But with that being said, it has to be Oshawa. Like mentioned previously they have sold out game 1 of their new history and that’s something to play behind. Give me the FireWolves.
San Diego vs. Ottawa
Ottawa-
Ottawa didn’t make any drastic changes this offseason like San Diego did. Let them build off the chemistry that they were working on since the deadline last season.
Georgia vs. Buffalo
Buffalo-
I bet against Buffalo last season in situations that I shouldn’t have and I won’t anymore. Until they show some cracks in the armor, it’s Buffalo all the way
Colorado vs. Vancouver
Vancouver-
The full reign of CDB starts now. Watching a full season of him for the Warriors will be entertaining. The Warriors will be very difficult to overcome this year. Give me the Warriors.
