The Six Nations Chiefs (4-1) visited the Owen Sound North Stars (2-3) at the Meaford-St. Vincent Community Centre in Meaford, Ontario, Saturday evening in Major Series Lacrosse action.

The goaltending match-up had Warren Hill in net for the Chiefs facing Kaleb Martin in net for the North Stars.

A game that both showcased the sheer power of the Chiefs lineup, but even more impressive, the dominant transition game they have.  Led by Tyson Bell (3g,1a), Latrell Harris (1g,0a) and Josh Ricci (1g,1a), the Six Nations transition game accounted for five of their twelve goals.  Not to be outdone, Ryan Smith (3g,0a), Josh Byrne (1g,4a), and Cody Jamieson (1g,3a) had strong offensive showings as well.

Owen Sound fought valiantly in the first period, down only 3-2 at the intermission.  However, as the game wore on, the Chiefs were able to control the flow of the game more and more, outscoring the Stars 9-3 in the final two periods.  Six Nations defeats the Owen Sound North Stars 12-5.
