The New York City football club is attempting to undo the damage of last week’s second half collapse to the Atlanta United by starting a 2 match homestand first off against the Minnesota United and the red hot Tani Oluwaseyi. Oluwaseyi, who has scored 4 goals in the last two matches faces an NYCFC squad still reeling after giving up 3 goals in the second half and losing by a score of 4-3 after being up 3-1. The homestand comes as at a good time as the team needs to refocus it’s energy on going forward and after the on field issues that occurred on the 4th goal after team captain Thiago Martins was shouting at Goalkeeper Matt Freese after the miscommunication caused completed the team’s collapse.
