The Thunderbirds are peaking at the right time and are poised to make a playoff run. Ottawa is turning back the clock to their Riptide days, and that’s not a good thing.
Las Vegas vs. Buffalo
Pick – Buffalo
This will be lopsided, and I wouldn’t be surprised if records are broken.
Philadelphia vs. Toronto
Pick – Toronto
This is a tough one. Two teams that could really use a win. I like what Toronto’s young blood brings to the table, so I’ll give them the edge.
Buffalo vs. Albany
Pick – Buffalo
We saw what happened the last time Buffalo had a back-to-back game, and it wasn’t good. Albany is a bit of a weaker team. I think Albany will keep it close, but the Bandits will come out on top.
San Diego vs. Calgary
Pick – Calgary
This could be the game of the week. Two teams trending upwards. San Diego has still been underwhelming compared to Calgary, so I’ll go with the Roughnecks.
Georgia vs. Vancouver
Pick – Vancouver
CDB has made a huge difference to this Warriors team. I think Georgia’s inconsistency will be their downfall.
Colorado vs. Ottawa
Pick – Colorado
This is tough because the Mammoths are a very good team, but they are banged up. Ottawa has a chance if they get secondary scoring, which has been lacking as of late.
Gary:
Ottawa vs. Halifax
Halifax wins.
Ottawa has been having trouble spreading the ball around, and Halifax will pressure them a lot in this game. Cody Jamieson, Clarke Petterson, et all have been looking real good the last few months. This could get ugly.
Las Vegas vs. Buffalo
Buffalo wins.
The Bandits are such a talented team! Las Vegas has had moments of greatness followed by days of mediocrity. The Bandits won’t be any easier than the Seals were last week.
Philadelphia vs. Toronto
Toronto wins.
Not sure if I’m picking with my head or my heart in this one. Both teams are struggling. Both teams need a spark. Who will find it in this game?
Buffalo vs. Albany
Buffalo wins.
Albany has looked pretty good the last few weeks, however I feel the Bandits will make a statement in this game.
San Diego vs. Calgary
San Diego wins.
I have been going back and forth with this game. I am going with a much healthier Seals team that isn’t exhausted (as per other years at this point).
Georgia vs. Vancouver
Vancouver wins.
I can’t figure out this Swarm team! The Warriors look to have figured it out on offense. With CDB in net, opponents will have to earn every inch they gain.
Colorado vs. Ottawa
Colorado wins.
Second game of the weekend against a strong team for the Black Bears…second loss as well. There is enough firepower on Colorado to give Ottawa fits all evening.

Ottawa just can’t seem to put it together, and despite the big additions of Longboat and Sundown, they still seem to solely rely on Teat and Higgins to steal them victories. And against a Thunderbirds team that has really found their footing? I’d be surprised if Halifax doesn’t take it this week.

Philadelphia vs. Toronto

The Wings just can’t put consistent wins together. That is what killed them this season, and i expect it to continue against the Rock.
Buffalo vs. Albany

I want to pick the FireWolves, but I said on the show that the Bandits worry me, and even on the second game of a back to back I still feel like Buffalo will come away with it in a close matchup.
San Diego vs. Calgary
Pick -San Diego
San Diego is coming off a massive victory last week over Vegas, and while yes it is against a struggling Desert Dogs who can’t seem to put it together, I feel as if they will be riding the momentum of their 20-goal game and Rob Hellyer’s 12 point performance.
Georgia vs. Vancouver
Pick – Vancouver
CDB is fitting in just perfectly in Vancouver and I think him and the Warriors will ride the high and take another win over a Georgia team who has been struggling as of late.
Colorado vs. Ottawa
Pick – Colorado
Despite three of their big names being out last week against the Wings, Colorado was able to use that “next man up” mentality and ride it all the way to a victory, and I think that’s gonna happen again this week.
