Week 15 picks:
“Muffler” Mike:
Toronto vs. Vancouver
Vancouver. The Warriors stepped up yet again last week at another important juncture in their schedule. The same cannot be said for the Rock in the fourth quarter of their only game against their most disliked rivals last week.
Las Vegas vs. Halifax
Las Vegas. Both teams are fighting to not be sellers at the trade deadline. I’m still not convinced that the Thunderbirds can turn around their season, but I do believe the Desert Dogs remain hungry despite having a similar record as Halifax.
Ottawa vs. Colorado
Ottawa. Earlier in the season, games where the Black Bears had fourth quarter comeback wins were followed by flat performances resulting in a loss. Not so the last three weeks. Ottawa now seems to have found and kept the necessary intangible that keeps resulting in comeback wins, and I think they’ll do it again this week.
Calgary vs. Rochester
Calgary. After the high of beating the top team in the league last week, this feels too much like a trap game for the Knighthawks, despite them being at home.
Oshawa vs. Philadelphia
Oshawa. I think Dalton Young and Eric Fannell will give Oshawa fits in this game. But losing a four-goal lead in less than two minutes (and subsequently, the game) last week will not sit well with anyone in the FireWolves organization. Look for Oshawa to bounce back, making sure the race for the #1 overall pick in 2026 becomes extremely muddy.
Shawn:
Toronto vs. Vancouver
Pick – Vancouver
The Rock showed very little fight last week in a rivalry game, it makes you wonder how much fight will be in them against another top team. If Toronto shows little interest Vancouver will run over them.
Las Vegas vs. Halifax
Pick – Las Vegas
Both teams make me scratch my head sometimes. Halifax looked like they’ve fixed a lot of their issues but I almost want to see a bigger sample size. As crazy as it sounds, I almost think Vegas has found success with a two goalie system.
Ottawa vs. Colorado
Pick – Colorado
Ottawa is the best fourth quarter team in the league but will it be enough against the Mammoth. Colorado hasn’t played their best lacrosse lately but I think this team will turn it around.
Calgary vs. Rochester
Pick – Rochester
The Knighthawks are brimming with confidence after a big OT win over Sask. Calgary’s record isn’t good they are a decent start towards a rebuild.
Oshawa vs. Philadelphia
Pick – Philadelphia
Two teams that really need a win, even if it just for confidence. I’m giving a slight edge to Philly because Damude has been lights out even in their losses while Dougie has been struggling.
Gary:
Toronto vs. Vancouver
Vancouver wins.
I really want to pick Toronto, but last week’s performance against Buffalo changed my mind. This team is on the cusp, but not ready yet to beat the big boys. Vancouver is rolling, and is where they want to be at this point on the season.
Las Vegas vs. Halifax
Las Vegas wins.
Las Vegas’ never quit attitude will pay off against Halifax. The Thunderbirds are going to be sellers in a few days. This will be the final nail in this lineup.
Ottawa vs. Colorado
Colorado wins.
This will be the game of the week. If Ottawa can play smart, and disciplined, they can pull off the upset. However, my money is still with the home team.
Calgary vs. Rochester
Rochester wins.
Rochester is just too deep for Calgary to hang with them for the entire sixty minutes. However, expect a more energized transition game from the Roughnecks.
Oshawa vs. Philadelphia
Oshawa wins.
This game matches up well for the FireWolves. The transition game will open up the floor, allowing Oshawa’s offense to get more opportunities. The Wings will keep it close, but I give the edge to the FireWolves.

Pat:
Toronto vs. Vancouver
Vancouver
Las Vegas vs. Halifax
Las Vegas
Ottawa vs. Colorado
Colorado
Calgary vs. Rochester
Rochester
Oshawa vs. Philadelphia
Oshawa
Caden:
Toronto Rock vs Vancouver Warriors
Pick: Toronto
Toronto usually plays a pretty disciplined game and doesn’t beat itself with dumb turnovers. Vancouver can be streaky — when their offense goes cold, it really stalls out. I like Toronto to grind this one out, especially if it turns into a slower, physical game.
Las Vegas Desert Dogs vs Halifax Thunderbirds
Pick: Halifax
Halifax tends to play a more structured style and usually defends well, which matters a lot in these mid-season games. Vegas has some firepower but they can get loose defensively and give up big runs. If Halifax controls possession, this feels like their game.
Ottawa Black Bears vs Colorado Mammoth
Pick: Colorado
Colorado is usually tough at home and they’ve got a veteran core that’s been through big games before. Ottawa can hang around, but the Mammoth are the kind of team that slowly pulls away over four quarters. I’d expect Colorado to take control late.
Calgary Roughnecks vs Rochester Knighthawks
Pick: Calgary
Calgary tends to push the pace and score in bunches, which can overwhelm teams if they get rolling. Rochester can be competitive, but they’ve had stretches where the defense leaks goals. If Calgary gets hot early, this could tilt their way pretty quickly.
Oshawa FireWolves vs Philadelphia Wings
Pick: Philadelphia
Philadelphia has shown they can produce offensively — they even snapped a long win streak for another team recently, so the attack is definitely capable. Oshawa plays hard but can struggle finishing possessions, and that usually catches up with them in tight games.
