Jackson Eicher the playmaker for Carolina
Jackson Eicher was the difference maker in this game for the Carolina Chaos. Eicher had five goals and one assist on the day, with the fifth goal being the game-winner in overtime. He did a great job for Carolina Chaos, fitting the bill for that Chaos name and using his big 6′ 4″ body to work, creating chaos down low on the Waterdogs’ doorstep. Eicher was finding the defensive mismatches he was getting from Philly’s defense. The Waterdogs had a tough time trying to defend him.
Ross Scott also recorded a hat-trick for the Chaos, and Owen Hiltz recorded 4 assists. The Chaos benefitted immensely from a last second desperation 2-point goal from Mark Glicini to tie the game at 6-6 just before halftime. Carolina evens their record at 4-4 with the win, dropping the Waterdogs to the same record. Both teams are currently in second place in their respective conferences – Philly in the East, Carolina in the West.

Unknown Heroes Step Up For Philly
The Waterdogs took Carolina down to the wire, as this game would be the first in the PLL this season to go into overtime. Philly falls just short of victory, losing 15-14. However, there are some good things you can take away from the Waterdogs’ performance, and that’s the unknown heroes who stepped up in the game. Jimmy Freehill making a 2-point goal, Christian Scarpello getting a pair of goals, and Dylan Hess finding a way to the back of the net as well for Philly. Kieran McArdle and Jack Hannah get a pair of goals for the Waterdogs. The road doesn’t get any easier for Philly, as they face Boston in Week 10. The Waterdogs have now dropped two straight games, so their bellies will be hungry to get back into the win column.
