Denver Summit FC has completed the transfer of forward Lourdes Bosch to C.F. Monterrey Femenil, sending one of the club’s original signings back to Liga MX Femenil in exchange for an agreed-upon transfer fee.

The club announced the move Wednesday, Aug. 12, bringing Bosch’s brief Denver tenure to an end after she joined the expansion side for preseason earlier this year.

“Lourdes demonstrated an exceptional work ethic and was an outstanding teammate,” Denver Summit FC General Manager Curt Johnson said in the club’s announcement. “We greatly appreciate her commitment to our club and wish her tremendous success moving forward with Monterrey.”

Bosch, 24, has taken an unconventional path back to Monterrey.

She became one of Denver Summit FC’s earliest signings in August 2025 after a breakout campaign with Melbourne City FC in Australia’s A-League Women. Rather than immediately joining Denver, Bosch remained on loan with Monterrey before reporting to Summit FC for preseason in January.

Her return to Monterrey now becomes permanent.

Bosch’s move also continues a rapid rise through the professional and international ranks for the former collegiate standout. During the 2024-25 A-League Women season, she established herself as one of the competition’s most productive attacking players, leading the league with nine assists while scoring four goals across 23 appearances.

Her contributions helped Melbourne City complete an undefeated regular season and put Bosch firmly on the radar internationally.

Bosch received her first senior Mexico women’s national team call-up in 2025 and made her international debut in a friendly against Uruguay. During her time with Denver, she also earned several call-ups to Mexico’s U-23 women’s national team.

Before turning professional, Bosch played collegiately at both UNLV and California Baptist University, earning multiple First Team All-Conference selections. Her performances also earned her a place on the 2023 Hermann Trophy Watchlist, recognizing her among the top players in NCAA soccer.

For Denver, the transfer represents another early roster decision as the first-year franchise continues building its long-term identity. Rather than losing Bosch without compensation, Summit FC receives a transfer fee while allowing the forward to continue her career with a Monterrey organization she already knows well.

Bosch leaves a Denver team currently navigating its inaugural professional season. While her stay in Colorado proved shorter than originally anticipated when she became one of the club’s first signings, her transfer adds another chapter to an increasingly international career that has already taken her from collegiate soccer in the United States to Australia, Mexico and back to the United States.

Now, Bosch heads south of the border once again — this time as a permanent member of Monterrey.
