Fann Cup 2025 – July 19th, Buffalo, NY

On July 19th, fans of National Lacrosse League will face off against each other for charity at the 22nd Annual Fann Cup Tournament. This traveling event rotates locations every year.

Fann Cup, which is a play on the name of the Canadian summer lacrosse league Mann Cup, returns to Buffalo at the Buffalo Riverworks complex (395 Ganson St. in Buffalo 14203), with the host team being the Bandits Brigade.


Participants will be traveling from Toronto, Chicago, Philadelphia, Rochester, Minnesota, and North Carolina to celebrate the sport of lacrosse and raise funds for local charitable organizations.

The charities that will benefit this year are Native American Community Services (NACS), Greater Buffalo Adaptive Sports, Nickel City Canine Rescue, and Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue.

The event is free for spectators to attend.

Fann Cup History:


The event started as a pick-up game between Toronto and Rochester NLL fans, but quickly grew to an annual tournament with as much as 200 amateur player participants, and has raised over $140,000 since its inception.


The opening ceremonies for the tournament will be at 8:30am, and run until approximately 3:00 pm.

In addition, there will be both basket and silent auctions, cultural activities, NLL alumni lacrosse player appearances, vendors, and other activities to raise charity funds.
