Continuing to find glory in Philly is a benefit for one Pat Kavangh. Kavanagh shows no intimidation about showcasing in the city of brotherly love, as he gets 4 points on the night, 3 goals and an assist. Don’t forget this is where Kavanagh won back-to-back NCAA championships with Notre Dame. With the Denver Outlaws backed against the wall, being 0-2 in the standings, they needed to bring their A-game to the Philadelphia Waterdogs’ doorstep. Getting great contributions from this offense, the Outlaws had 7 different scoring options in this game. Denver wore out the Waterdogs and walked out of Philly with a W in their back pockets, 9-7. Now it’s time for this Outlaws team to head to Baltimore and see if they can run it back against the Utah Archers. The Outlaws with a much-needed win, Pat Kavanagh shining in Philly. For the Waterdogs, Michael Sowers leads the PLL in points (17) and assists (12). Kieran McArdle and Thomas McConvey both get their 8th goal of the season, tying for first in the PLL alongside TJ Malone. Jack Hannah gets his 7th goal of the year.

Not all is lost for the Waterdogs

Even though the Philadelphia Waterdogs got the dog treat, they didn’t intend on having a taste of defeat. Losing 9-7 to the Denver Outlaws. Not all is lost for Philly because Jack Hannah stepped up, recording a hat-trick. One of the plays that stood out to me with Jack Hannah is when Graham Bundy Jr. tried to guard him, and Jack Hannah ran right through to finish the play. Philly is creating havoc down low, being very creative. Michael Sowers had two amazing assists. One assist was finding Thomas McConvey wide open, and the other was getting his offensive rebound and quickly making a pass to Jack Hannah from behind the Outlaws’ net. Philly will look to bounce back into the win column this Saturday against the New York Atlas.
