Bruno Damiani: Being The Difference Maker
The Philadelphia Union is set to face off against the Chicago Fire at home. Philly would get on the scoreboard first with a penalty kick from Bruno Damiani, which ultimately led to Chicago’s costly mistake in losing the game. Chicago Fire hung with the Union the rest of the match. This was a great defensive game from both clubs. Even though Chicago falls into the losses column tonight, they have to be proud of their defensive game. I would imagine The Fire will look for ways to generate offensive firepower as they get ready to host Charlotte FC this Saturday.

Philly Continues Rolling With The Good Times
If you’re a Philadelphia Union fan, you must be happy with this club. Even this game is only separated by one goal. Bruno Damiani answers the bell on the road for Philly. I love Philly’s defensive game plan anytime that Chicago had possession of the ball, looking to be in control. The Union defenders are tracking balls and breaking up plays. The defense that stood in front of the goal, goalkeeper Andrew Rick, was stellar. Andrew Rick is picking up another clean sheet under his belt. Which helps build confidence. However, we’re going to see if Philly can run it back against the Columbus Crew this Sunday evening.
The Aftermath
Bruno Damiani gets his 3rd goal of the season. The Philadelphia Union moves to 40 points. 12 wins, 3 losses, and 4 draws.
Chicago Fire needs this win on Saturday vs Charlotte, both teams tie at 25 points.
