The Cobourg Kodiaks (1-2) traveled west to face the Brooklin Lacrosse Club (3-1) at the Iroquois Park Sports Complex in Whitby, Ontario.

The goaltending match-up had Jackson Brown of the Kodiaks facing Steven Orleman of Brooklin.

A pair of late goals 0:34 seconds apart from Sean Westley sent Brooklin away with the 12-10 victory in this see-saw affair.   Both teams had opportunities to take control but the play of goalies was outstanding throughout the game.

Tied after one period, the Kodiaks jumped out to a three goal lead in the second period looking like they might run away with the game.  Alex Marinier (3g,1a) led the way for Cobourg with Holden Patterson (2g,2a) also scoring timely goals.

Late in the second, Brooklin mounted a comeback with Chris Boushy (3g,3a), Connor Kearnan (3g,2a), and Sean Westley (2g,1a) leading the charge in the eventual comeback.  A late empty net goal sealed the deal, as Brooklin came away with the two goal victory.
