Adam Noakes had a six-point night to lead the Coquitlam Adanacs to a 10–4 win over the Maple Ridge Burrards on Sunday night.

Noakes finished with a hat trick and three assists, while David Charney and Jalen Chaster each scored twice.

The Adanacs have now held their opponents to just seven goals over the past two games. On Saturday, it was Andrew Gallant allowing only three goals against Langley. On Sunday, Coquitlam had Christian Del Bianco back in net, and he stopped 37 of 41 shots in the win.

Dylan McIntosh led the Burrards with two goals and one assist. Drew Andre and Declan Fitzpatrick added the other goals for Maple Ridge. Brandon Humphrey got the start in goal and made 35 saves on 45 shots. Nate Faccin played 2:02 in relief and stopped the only shot he faced.

Adanacs Hold Early Advantage

Although the Adanacs led after the first period, it was the Burrards who struck first.

Fitzpatrick opened the scoring at 4:58 to give Maple Ridge an early lead.

Coquitlam responded with a two-goal run. Charney scored at 5:56, followed by Noakes at 8:34 to make it 2–1 for the Adanacs.

Maple Ridge tied it up at 10:30 with a goal from McIntosh.

However, Coquitlam closed out the period with two more goals. Brian Gillis scored with 5:26 remaining, and Charney added his second of the night with just eight seconds left to give the Adanacs a 4–2 lead at the break.

Burrards’ Offence Goes Silent

Maple Ridge opened the second period with two straight goals but couldn’t sustain the momentum.

Andre scored at 9:46 to make it 4–3, and McIntosh added a power-play goal at 13:43 to tie the game.

That would be it for the Burrards’ offence, which went silent for the final 26:17 of the game.

Chaster scored with 3:45 left in the period, and Noakes followed just over a minute later to give Coquitlam a 6–4 lead.

Chaster added his second of the night on the power play with 13 seconds remaining to send the Adanacs into the third period up 7–4.

Del Bianco Shuts the Door

Del Bianco turned aside all 11 shots he faced in the third period as the Adanacs outscored the Burrards 3–0 in the final frame.

Noakes completed his hat trick at 8:13. Kean Moon followed at 9:21 to make it 9–4.

James Rahe capped off the scoring with an unassisted power-play goal at 3:32 to seal the 10–4 victory.
