
The Coquitlam Adanacs came from behind to defeat the Maple Ridge Burrards 10-7 in Game 4, securing their spot in the WLA championship final.
Maple Ridge led 5-0 after the first period and 6-2 after two. In the third, Coquitlam exploded for eight goals.
Trailing 7-4 in the final frame, the Adanacs rattled off six unanswered goals to take the best-of-five series 3-1.
Coquitlam will now face the New Westminster Salmonbellies in the best-of-seven WLA championship. Game 1 gets underway Tuesday at the Poirier Rec Centre in Coquitlam. The full schedule can be found below.

Burrards Take Control in the First
Maple Ridge jumped out to a 5-0 lead in Game 4. Brandon Humphrey stopped all 12 shots he faced in the opening period for the Burrards.
Marcus Klarich opened the scoring at 4:48 with an extra attacker on the floor. Klarich struck again at 8:56 to make it 2-0.
Dylan McIntosh got on the board at 9:22, followed by Riley Loewen at 11:24.
McIntosh rounded out the scoring, unassisted, at 15:57 to give Maple Ridge a 5-0 lead heading into the second.

Adanacs Gain Ground in the Second
Coquitlam started to chip away at the deficit in the second period, outscoring the Burrards 2-1.
The Adanacs opened the frame with a pair of goals. Clark Walter found the back of the net at 2:53, and James Rahe followed that up with a power-play marker at 6:49 to make it 5-2.
Payton Cormier converted off a feed from McIntosh with 2:54 left on the clock as the Burrards carried a 6-2 lead into the final frame.
Adanacs Move On
Coquitlam broke out in the third period while the Burrards were unable to force a Game 5.
Adam Noakes opened the scoring at 5:18. Only 28 seconds later, Rahe scored with an extra attacker on the floor to make it 6-4.
McIntosh got one back for Maple Ridge on the power play at 8:09, but it was all Coquitlam after that.
Trailing 7-4, the Adanacs scored six unanswered goals to close out the game.
Walter scored on the power play at 10:43, and Tyler Garrison added an unassisted marker at 12:34 to make it a one-goal game.
Brett McIntyre tied it up with 6:53 left to play.
With goaltender Christian Del Bianco pulled for the extra attacker, Kean Moon scored the go-ahead goal with 1:16 remaining. Moon added an empty-netter for insurance with 15 seconds left, and Bobby Kidd III put another into the empty net with one second remaining to seal the 10-7 win and punch Coquitlam’s ticket to the WLA Final.
