The Six Nations Chiefs (6-0) traveled east to face the Peterborough Lakers (4-5) in game two of the Major Series Lacrosse finals.  The Chiefs won game one rather handily, outscoring the Lakers 11-6.

The goaltending match-up had Drew Hutchison in net for Peterborough facing Doug Jamieson in net for Six Nations.

A tight checking game from the start.  While Six Nations got out to a 3-1 lead, a late goal from Mike Robinson had this a one goal game after one period.  Tempers were starting to get hot near the end of the period, with a few minor squirmishes going on, setting the tone for the rest of the game.

Six Nations broke the game open in the second with a four goal run in the second, led by a pair from Ryan Smith.  The Chiefs led 9-4 after two periods.

The Lakers pressed hard in the third, but between the all-star Chiefs defense, and the stellar goaltending of Doug Jamieson, couldn’t overcome the large deficit.

Six Nations takes a 2-0 lead in the best of seven Major Series Lacrosse final, winning game two 11-7.
