A disappointing fourth quarter led the Saskatchewan Rush to a 10-6 home loss to the Calgary Roughnecks on Friday night.
Saskatchewan was outscored 4-0 in the fourth quarter due to a slew of errant passes and a stagnant power play. The Rush were three-for-seven with the man advantage on Friday night. The Rush also did everything they could at the faceoff dot, with Jake Naso winning 15 of 20 draws to give Saskatchewan extra possessions.
Saskatchewan’s goaltending was not to blame for the loss. Frank Scigliano only allowed eight goals on 45 shots. On the other end, Nick Rose was spectacular, stopping 57 of 63 shots in the win.
