The Philadelphia Wings would start this game on the right track in the first quarter, getting solid defensive play, breaking up scoring opportunities by the Seals. Wings goaltender Nick Damude only allowed two goals in the opening quarter, and Philly got offensive production from Michael Sowers and Joe Resetarits as the Wings led 4-2 after 15 minutes. Resetarits would get a hat trick and one assist in this game, becoming the first American-born player in NLL history to record 900 career points.
However, the fun would quickly come to an end for Philadelphia. The offense went silent in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, and the Seals went on a 10-0 run into the 4th quarter of a 13-7 victory. The Wings fall to 1-6 on the season, and in a strange twist, have yet to win a game when Sowers is in the lineup (0-9).

Seals Cause A World Of Problems For The Wings
The Seals made all the right adjustments and really did a number on the Wings on both sides of the ball. Nine different players recorded a point for San Diego, as they showed Philly how high-powered their offense can be. Connor Robinson and Tre Leclaire both recorded hat tricks, and Zach Currier had 2 goals and 3 assists. Ben McIntosh once again caused pain and suffering to his former team with a goal and 5 assists.
The Seals were very creative in the offensive zone, showing nice ball movement and finding holes in the Wings defense. The extended run through the middle quarters forced the Wings to make a goalie change from Nick Damude to Decant Knott; however, the onslaught from the Seals would continue into the fourth quarter. The series sweep serves as a huge momentum builder for San Diego going into Week 11, when they welcome the league leading Saskatchewan Rush to Pechanga Arena.
